Tonight I came across an issue in gitbook. First of all I want to say that it’s a wonderful piece of software and they’re trying super hard to build a great service out of gitbook.com to empower self-publishers, but this curious bug had me wondering quite a bit.
My Linux Mint 18 today was refusing to wake up from Suspend/Hibernate after I had closed the lid. It’s a little odd, because I went for the cinnamon and all other niceness installation variant, an image that wouldn’t even fit on a 2GB USB flash drive.
The only thing I apparently had to do was to open the driver manager and install the graphics drivers, followed by an
apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade
I got the honor of making the video capture of the ROCK FASHION event at Kolding Storcenter this year.
The mall is hosting an annual event where the stores pick out some outfits for the 100+ models, that then go on a catwalk through the corridors of the mall. Artists on stage included: PAGE FOUR, Daniel Schulz, Brandon Beal, Vild $mith, Kaka and USO.
Concept and Make Up: Disa Kapetanovic
Model and Styling: Zenia Wichmann
It was really great to be behind the camera for more than the usual video coverage (watch here) and I’m looking forward to work with all of the involved again!
Rock Fashion 2014 happened this weekend and I’ve had the honor of being a part of the show again. This year I have not spent close to the same amount of time behind my camera as other years and I was basically the video crews sidekick.
Rock Fashion is a fashion show where the stores of a shopping mall in Kolding get to present their collections, usually for the upcoming winter season, on 100 models that walk the corridors of the mall, while musicians play on the main stage.
It was towards then end of the shoot, when I still tried to get some closer shots and a little meaner look, which I’m quite happy with! Continue reading “Shoot with Lissa at MeMe #5”
So like the other cool kids apps, I thought my pet project deserved a proper landing page. It’s been a while since I’ve actually had time for this project, but it was just too soon to entirely drop it.
The new landing page is built with bootstrap and animatescroll, the picture is one of mine that I took ages ago. I had to tweak the grid system a little to make it work as I imagined, but it wasn’t an obstacle.
Now live on cigtrack.info.
I’m happy with it, since it appeals much more to people instead of developers and communicates the thoughts behind the project. In hindsight I should have done this as the first step of the entire process 😉
